At Torah Live, we believe that the answer to that question is a resounding yes. Kids can certainly do chesed and influence their friends to do so as well. All they need is “chesed eyes” - the attention to detail that has them noticing when people around them could use a boost and doing what they can to help.
Not convinced? The soon-to-be-launched series, Live to Give, was created for the sole purpose of spreading chesed in our community, starting with kids and teens. Previous Torah Live films relied heavily on narration to teach as well as entertain, but now for the first time you can watch a full-length seven-part series that tells the story of teens grappling with how to make their lives more meaningful.
Simcha, Yair and Baruch are three boys who have bought into the secular culture’s definitions of what’s cool, until they realize they are chasing the wrong dream. They try to use the tools at their disposal to spread the value of chesed far and wide, but it turns out to be much harder than they expected…
Luckily, they don’t give up, and eventually that chesed revolution they dreamed of starts to take shape.
The gripping story and relatable characters make this a series you won’t want to miss!
