Torah Live is excited to offer Jewish educators and authors, as well as authors to be, the opportunity to work on a joint project. Here’s how it works:
You’ll get a high quality animation (Rabbi Siddur if appropriate) using content from a chapter in your book, which promotes your ideas at the same time as it expands the Torah Live library
You will be involved in the process by guiding the Torah Live team in the research, reviewing and commenting on drafts
The video will contain a 15 - 30 second advertisement for the book at the end, letting people know why they should read the book and where it can be bought
We help promote the video through our website and social media channels
You receive a copy of the video for posting wherever you like
Follow in the footsteps of other authors who have already collaborated with Torah Live to spread the word about their publications:
Stephen J. Savitsky has written a book called Kan Tzipor, in which he expands this mitzvah to include any situation in which you are uniquely positioned to perform an act of chesed. In a video created in collaboration with the Torah Live studio, Stephen tells the story of a last-minute business trip which transformed into an opportunity to perform an act of loving-kindness and a great Kiddush Hashem.
Rabbi Joel Padowitz and Rabbi Jonathan Sassen’s sefer, The Science Behind the Mishnah, brings the Mishnayos to life by revealing the natural phenomena described within, offering a fresh perspective that connects timeless teachings with the intricacies of the physical world. The video they produced with Torah Live explains how daylight comes about each morning and its relevance to the discussions in the Mishnah about the earliest time to recite Krias Shema of Shacharis.
