We Named That Book!

We Named That Book!

When we first started working on our shmiras halashon series, we turned to you for help with a scene. We asked:

A father walks into a room and sees a young boy slumped down on the couch reading an oversized book, completely covering his upper body. The book is, of course, about the halachos of loshon hara. What’s the title of the book? Who’s the author?

We could not believe how many hysterical and creative answers we received! Who knew Torah Live fans were so inventive?

Here are some of the hilarious ideas we had to choose from:

  • Watch Your Tongue by Mama Lashon (from Yehoshua B.)
  • Speaking Positively by Celia Lips (from Elimelech C.)
  • The Benefits of Good Speaking Habits by Liv Moore (from Doniel L.)
  • The Laws of Loshon Hara by Ilse Lander

Director Rabbi Dan Roth spent much time deliberating and ended up choosing two authors' names for the same book. It was too difficult to choose just one!

And the winners are... Denah Stilerman and Moshe Gotleib!

Our book is called The Laws of Loshon Hara by Warron Words & Les Babble.

Watch The Dust of Loshon Hara video below and see if you can spot the book!

Thanks Denah and Moshe for enhancing our shmiras halashon series and helping to teach these important halachos.

Special thanks to sponsors Elan & Victoria Shasha for making this series possible. Stay tuned for our next installment, The Power of Words, currently in production. Click here to watch the rest of the series.
