With all due respect, since you are only toiveling one utensil, shouldn’t you have said “al tevilas keli”?

Thank you for your good question: Two points:
1. While you are right that the Shulchan Aruch (YD 120:3) says that the blessing to recite on tevilas keleim depends on whether one is immersing one utensil or many, the late rauthorities (Aruch Hashulchan 120:22 and others) say that the custom is to use the plural form even when immersing one utensil.
2. I went on to immerse other utensils as well. 🙂
If you have a cheese utensil would you need to dip it in the mikvah?
