The Story
A 15 year old girl discovers the inner excitement and possibility of growing into a strong Jewish woman, when she learns to turn away from society’s demands and definitions of success, and think more about the deeper, truer values of Torah, and how those values are realized within the varying lives and roles that Jewish women live today, and which have modeled by great Jewish women historically.
A coming-of-age curriculum for girls in school. Live-action film, with cast and emotional character development. Higher price tag, but felt that will be able to garner support. Learning from the success of the Josh bar-mitzvah stories, which have strongly resonated with kids (and adults) of all ages.
In an age where kids are swept along by videos, TV, internet, and video games — what chance do we have of engaging them?
