Saving Lives

In partnership with United Hatzalah, the Torah Live Boehm first aid series gives children the knowledge and confidence to act in real-life emergencies. This isn’t just another course—it’s lifesaving education.

Over a million kids will learn essential skills that could one day save a life:

Life-threatening emergencies: CPR, the Heimlich maneuver for choking, drowning response, recognizing heart attacks and strokes, helping someone having a seizure, and treating severe allergic reactions

Injury response: How to stop bleeding, treat burns, properly bandage wounds, help someone who's fallen, use the recovery position, and handle head injuries, and nosebleeds

Critical foundations: How to call for help, stay calm under pressure, make sure you're safe before helping others, and understand why every second counts

Plus: Managing common conditions like asthma attacks, diabetic emergencies, and dehydration - and learning what goes in a proper first aid kit

Beyond the skills, this course teaches a powerful message: every single person matters. When a child learns how to save a life, they are living Torah values in the most real and meaningful way. This is Torah in action.

The series is dedicated by Shlomie and Batsheva Boehm in memory of Dr. Allen Bennett (Avraham Yehuda ben Aaron) z”l and Moti Kest (Mordechai Tzvi ben Yitzchok Elimelech) z”l, two individuals who threw themselves with their whole hearts and souls into helping others and saving lives.

Other chapters have been sponsored by Ron and June Daniels, Stephanie Ronson in memory of Stuart Ronson, Dr. Shmuel and Evelyn Katz and Dr. Alan and Dr. Amy Wolnerman, and Ricky and Pam Turetsky.
