For the first time since filming began on Torah Live’s most ambitious film, the Ezra & Lauren Kest Emunah and Tefillah Project, our main screen characters met for the first time face to face.
Together with Torah Live’s founder Rabbi Dan Roth, the group celebrated the completion of Phase I of this groundbreaking project in Jerusalem. Ezra and Lauren Kest had the opportunity to get to know the people who have brought their vision to reality - from the writer to the production staff and the stars.
Amazingly, even though they interact amazingly on screen, our two main characters Eliav (bar mitzvah boy “Josh”) and Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky (aka “Rabbi Siddur”) had never actually been in the same room before!
Shazam. The encounter between our two Tefillah heroes was electric and hysterically funny. In fact, Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky was so thrilled with his alter ego, “Rabbi Siddur,” he said that he’s ready to go back into the studio for more!
