Course Description

Ribbis

The Torah prohibits Jews from charging interest on loans to one another. This is not a simple matter, as the implications go far beyond an interest rate. This course covers the topic in depth.

I found this extremely interesting. I have a question for you. I bought my sister a slice of pizza in exchange for french fries. I paid with cash, and my sister bought the french fries with a gift certificate for french fries and a soda. She kept the soda for herself. Is this whole think Ribbis? (It actually happened already.) Thank you! -Rina (Shaina’s daughter)
